The USA ATTACHMENTS THL Thumb, Long is a hydraulic-style excavator thumb designed for use with a quick coupler on the SY35U compact excavator. A thumb works with the bucket to grip and hold material, turning the excavator arm into a more capable tool for handling objects that a bucket alone cannot secure.

Adding a long thumb to a compact excavator can improve productivity on jobs that involve picking, sorting, and placing material. Operators can grasp logs, brush, rocks, concrete pieces, pipe, and demolition debris, then move them with greater control. This reduces the need for manual handling and helps keep work moving during site cleanup, utility work, and material placement.

The product information identifies this model as a long thumb configured for the SY35U with a quick coupler. No further specifications were provided, so buyers should confirm fitment, mounting requirements, and compatibility with their specific coupler and bucket setup. In general, longer thumbs offer a wider gripping range than short versions, which helps when handling larger or irregular items.

Excavation contractors, landscapers, utility installers, demolition crews, land clearing operators, and general site work companies commonly use excavator thumbs. Fleet and rental managers may also find a thumb attachment useful for expanding the range of work a compact excavator can handle.
