The USA Attachments THL Thumb Long (Quick Coupler) for the SY35U is a hydraulic-style excavator thumb attachment designed to work with compact excavators. A long thumb pairs with the bucket to grip, hold, and place material, turning the excavator arm into a more capable handling tool. Common applications include demolition cleanup, land clearing, brush and debris handling, and material placement.

The main benefit of a thumb is control. Operators can pick up irregular items such as logs, rocks, concrete pieces, pipe, and scrap rather than pushing them around or relying on a second worker. This reduces repositioning time and helps keep job sites organized. A long thumb style generally offers a wider gripping range, which can be useful when handling larger or bulkier loads. Because this model is listed for use with a quick coupler, it suits operators who change attachments often and want a setup that fits that workflow.

No detailed specifications were provided for this listing, so buyers should confirm fitment, pin configuration, and compatibility with their SY35U and coupler setup before purchase. In general, excavator thumbs are built from steel and mount to the stick or coupler area to oppose the bucket when closing.

Contractors in excavation, demolition, landscaping, utility installation, site preparation, and forestry support commonly use thumb attachments. Fleet managers and rental departments also value them for adding versatility to compact excavators across many job types.
