The USA ATTACHMENTS THL Thumb Long (Quick Coupler) for SY35U is a new excavator thumb attachment built for SY35U compact excavators equipped with a quick coupler. A thumb works against the bucket to grab, hold, and place material, giving a mini excavator the ability to handle objects that a bucket alone cannot secure.

Adding a thumb lets operators pick up rocks, logs, brush, debris, concrete chunks, and pipe without switching machines or calling in additional equipment. This helps with sorting, loading, and placing material on tight job sites where compact excavators are often the primary machine. The added control can reduce manual handling and improve material placement during cleanup and demolition tasks.

This model is a long-style thumb intended for users running a quick coupler. Long thumbs are generally designed to account for the extra distance a quick coupler adds between the stick and the bucket, helping the thumb meet the bucket properly so the two can close together and grip material effectively. Matching the thumb to the machine and coupler setup is important for proper fit and function.

The THL Thumb Long is suited to landscaping contractors, site preparation crews, utility installers, demolition contractors, land clearing operations, and rental fleets supporting SY35U mini excavators on residential, municipal, and light commercial projects.
