The USA ATTACHMENTS THL Thumb Long (Quick Coupler) for SY60U is an excavator thumb attachment designed for SY60U machines equipped with a quick coupler. An excavator thumb works opposite the bucket to grip, hold, and place materials that a bucket alone cannot control. Common applications include handling rock, logs, brush, pipe, concrete debris, and demolition material.

Adding a thumb allows the excavator to pick up, sort, and position irregular or bulky objects with greater control. Operators can load trucks, stack materials, and clear sites without switching to a separate machine. The long thumb configuration is intended for users running a quick coupler, which adds length between the stick and the bucket. A longer thumb helps keep the thumb properly matched to that working geometry. This improves material retention and makes the machine more versatile on jobs that alternate between digging and handling.

This new USA ATTACHMENTS thumb is specified for the SY60U and for setups that use a quick coupler. Excavator thumbs in this category typically feature a tined design that closes against the bucket to secure loads. Before purchase, buyers should confirm compatibility with their specific coupler and bucket arrangement.

The THL long thumb suits excavation contractors, demolition crews, land clearing and forestry operators, utility and pipeline contractors, landscapers, and site preparation companies. Rental fleets serving compact excavator users also benefit from adding thumb capability to their SY60U units.
