The USA ATTACHMENTS THL Thumb Long (Quick Coupler) is an excavator thumb built for use with the SY60U excavator when the machine is equipped with a quick coupler. A thumb works with the bucket to grab, hold, and place material, turning a digging machine into one that can also handle loose, bulky, or irregular objects. Common applications include picking up rock, logs, brush, pipe, concrete debris, and demolition scrap.

A thumb adds versatility without requiring a separate machine. Operators can sort debris, load trucks with awkward materials, clear land, and position objects more precisely than with a bucket alone. This reduces manual labor and supports safer, more efficient material handling.

This model is a long thumb configured for machines running a quick coupler. Quick couplers place the bucket farther from the stick, so a longer thumb is generally needed to reach the bucket tip and close against it properly for a secure grip. Matching the thumb to both the SY60U and the quick coupler setup helps ensure proper fit and clamping. This thumb is new.

The USA ATTACHMENTS THL long thumb suits SY60U owners and operators in site preparation, land clearing, landscaping, utility work, demolition, and general excavation. Contractors, rental fleets, and equipment owners who handle mixed materials will find it a practical addition to a compact excavator setup.
