The USA ATTACHMENTS THL Thumb Long (Quick Coupler) for SY60U is an excavator thumb attachment for SY60U machines equipped with a quick coupler. Working together with the bucket, an excavator thumb lets the operator grab, hold, and place irregular materials that a bucket alone cannot easily handle. Common applications include land clearing, demolition debris handling, rock placement, and loading brush, logs, and scrap.

A thumb turns the excavator into a material handling tool, letting operators pick up and sort material without a second machine or extra ground labor. This saves time when loading trucks, stacking debris, or setting objects into position. The long configuration matters on quick coupler setups because the coupler adds length between the stick and the bucket.

As its name and category state, this model is a long-style thumb intended for SY60U users running a quick coupler. Long thumbs are generally sized so the tines reach and close against a bucket mounted on a coupler, giving a secure grip on loose and oddly shaped loads.

Excavation contractors, demolition crews, land clearing and forestry operations, landscapers, utility contractors, site development firms, and rental fleets supporting these trades commonly use excavator thumbs for cleanup, sorting, and general material handling work.
